the age old question of "hitting" the gym is do I need protein supplementation now?? well the simple answer is yes in a research study recently undertaken the found that, "dietary protein supplementation significantly enhanced changes in muscle strength and size during prolonged resistance exercise training in healthy adults. Increasing age reduces and training experience increases the efficacy of protein supplementation during resistance exercise training" this answers the question put forward by many amateur athletes.
