Everyone wants to do more exercise but the problem for a lot of people is what to do? many people are struggling with weight, pain or issues that prevent them from exercising. In a recent study they looked into what the effects of aquatic exercise was on the body. Aquatic exercise may be better tolerated by sedentary, overweight individuals than land-based exercise. By doing this form of exercise the weight baring issues are seeming taken away, however does it create enough to see improvement? Within the study they undertook a 5 week training program to see what the outcomes would be. Improvements in cardiorespiratory fitness and exercise economy as well as body composition were observed in these sedentary individuals.
